The Convertible Comfort Lift™ Kit replaces the stock shock mounts of your Harley Trike. It gives an increase of 1.25" at the shocks and 1.6" at the rear of the bike.
The Convertible Part: 2009 - 2013 Harley Trikes are one configuration, 2017 & Later Harley Trikes are another configuration. 2014 - 2016 vary between the two configurations.
The two sets of holes allow for mounting in either configuration, so that all year models can be fitted with this one Convertible Lift Kit.
Simple & Easy. You end up with the Ideal lift for Your Trike, and all the benefits of a Comfort Lift™.
What is different about the Convertible Comfort Lift™ from the Standard Lift is they slightly change the angle of the shocks rearward on the swingarm. The suspension now absorbs more of the smaller and larger road imperfections, resulting in less of the bumps being passed on to the rider and passenger.
Net result is a Smoother, Plusher ride.

These will work with your Stock 13" Shocks.
They will also work with aftermarket 13" coil over shocks like the NEXGEN™ 13" Trike Series Shocks™, Progressive 440, 444 shocks, Twin Adjustable Shocks, and Pro-Action Street Series Shocks.

"Genius! I was not sure if a full 1.25 Comfort Lift would fit on my 2017 Tri-Glide, so I got the Convertible. When I installed it, the full lift fit, but if it hadn't it would have been easy to swap to the "convertible" holes for a slightly shorter lift. DK does it again! "By the time i hit 930 miles on the trike, i felt as if i was staring death in the face. I mean i really hated the ride and I immediately put the bike on Craigs list.
But yesterday I picked up the trike after having the DK Customs comfort lift kit put on. My first experience was to do about 30 miles on interstate 25 and set the cruise control on 77. Then exited and drove the twisties past Bishops Castle again and the total run was close to 100 miles yesterday.
I feel like there is still a learning curve to get by but what a positive major difference in the ride.

Night and day difference 0 people found this helpfulI bought the set, 13 inch shocks and lift kit. My 2018 Tri Glide factory shocks were leaking air and every 3 days I had to pump them up again. Even having just pumped them up leaving my neighborhood I had to go over every speed bump diagonally or my exhaust would scrape. I installed the DK Customs comfort lift kit and 13 inch shocks and it was a night and day difference. My exhaust doesn’t scrape anymore going straight over the speed bumps in my neighborhood and the ride is so much better than factory. The bumps that used to hammer my back are so much smoother and riding my trike is so much more fun. It rides and handles better than it ever has before. Now I’m looking forward to taking long road trips which is something I wouldn’t even consider before. I took a chance and am mighty happy I did. Thanks DK Customs for an outstanding product.

Excellent Choice 0 people found this helpfulI was going back and forth adding air ride or shocks until I started to view the product videos from DK Customs. They place a lot of emphasis on their R&D which made it the right choice for me. Harley dealer installed them, rode my bike back home 60 miles, highway speeds and country roads. Wow! Immediate difference on ride quality and handling. I am so glad I went with these shocks!! I am now considering upgrading my mono shock on my 2018 Heritage. Please consider this review my product warranty registration cause they are staying on the bike, LOL!

Huge difference 1 people found this helpfulFinally found time to get this installed. Makes a huge difference, no scraping my pipe coming in to the driveway. Feels way better than stock, waiting for a better day for a long ride. Some things to look at before installing, remove bolts for emergency brake, make getting to the two bolts easier, compress the shocks, and a bottle jack helped align the brackets. Brackets are solid, well made and nicely powder coated. This install is on my 2017 Tri Glide.

Lift and comfort kit 0 people found this helpfulHad a hard time lining up the holes as I had the rear jacked up too high. Don’t take the wheels off the ground more than 4 inches. Any one can make this installation and it is well worth it. My HD 2021 CVO Trigluide definitely steers easier and is softer on bumps. Would recommend to any trike owner.

Enjoy your ride more 1 people found this helpfulMy first trike in 65 years, a 2025 Tri-glide Ultra, and right off the showroom I noticed all the things mentioned in DK's trike videos. After getting it home, I adjusted the rear shocks, lowered the tire pressure to 22psi and took it for a ride. A week later I installed the comfort lift brackets. Yes, all the adjustments made a difference, but these made the ride so much better. It's not power steering for motorcycles, but the ride and control were far better than day 1 off the showroom floor. If you have the tools, this is a two hour investment in happiness.

Lift? 0 people found this helpfulI see only a half inch lift with my comfort lift kit on our Freewheeler. However, the bike does look very level. As for ride the jury is still out. I've only had the bike out for a total 30 miles of riding but, the ride from the highway 2 miles to my house on a dirt road really doesn't feel much if any different. Planning to discuss this with DK after I get a ride in with the wife on the back to see if two up improves or makes the ride worse. Not feeling the value in the expense yet though.

Smooths the bumps and improves handling 1 people found this helpfulMy first trike: 2025 Tri Glide Ultra. The lift kit definitely smoothed the bumps and made steering easier. After 60 yrs on two wheels, there was a bit of a learning curve for cornering, but I noticed the improvement right away. My wife comments on the improved feel of how bumps are felt. If you are comfortable with wrenching your motorcycle, the saved labor cost more than pays for the kit. The installation was easy. The hardest part was finding the balance point to lift the rear evenly. Unless you have the front wheel in a mounted wheel chock, the whole thing is balancing on the front wheel and jack. As an inspector with 45 years of experience, I am fussy and love no nonsense solutions. This is a no nonsense solution. Get them.

Comfort Lift and NexGen 13" shocks 1 people found this helpfulI just got around to changing out the suspension on my 2017 Tri Glide. I wish I would have done it earlier !! I combined the Comfort Lift with 13" NexGen Shocks and got a noticeable difference in the ride and steering. I highly recommend both products !!

Follow the instructions step by step and don't try to shortcut. Both mounts have to be taken off before installing the comfort lift.

Good 2 people found this helpfulI'm not a mechanically inclined person and I was skeptical about purchasing a lift kit. I read many positive comments on a Harley trike chat, so I decided to try. Since I wasn't sure exactly what I needed, I sent an email explaining my situation and what I was trying to accomplish. I got a quick reply with information to help me and a video. I installed the kit myself and I must admit that I'm delighted with the results. I took a test ride and could feel a difference right away. The bumps and holes on the road were absorbed pretty good. It also raised the trike's rear end about an inch and a quarter to help minimize the scrapping on the pipes. I'm satisfied with the performance.

My wife was satisfied with the results but after doing much research I decided to install the Comfort Lift. I'm here to say this product works very well. It's tamed down the ride and handling nicely. Now, my wife really likes the ride as well as I do. Nice going DK, good stuff.

What a difference 1 people found this helpfulMy husband installed the Convertible Comfort Lift on my 2022 TriGlide. With 34psi front/24psi rears, I went out for a ride on our local bumpy roads. My OEM shocks are at #5, I was amazed at the difference in ride quality, and handling. Very good design & product. It raised the rear 1". Not too bad to install, again proper tools, stands and reading the instructions (that's what I did LOL), he said it was a good install . Thanks DK Customs

Just need patience, proper tools, and don’t install without quality stands/supports. Took about an hour to install. Definitely worth it for leveling out the trike. Especially with long trips, 2 people and packed with road trip supplies.

This comfort lift is for a Freewheeler to trial a lift in preparation to fit a combo package to our new TriGlide due June. I can't comment on ride difference as the lift was fitted before delivery of Freewheeler. Lift is great allowing 4 1/2" SE Mufflers with plenty of ground clearance. Such a change from scraping the mufflers. Workshop said so simple to fit. Better clearance than Legends offered. My wife & I have ridden TriGlides USA/Europe/Canada/UK/NZ since 2012 without suspension mods but after so many 'tough' miles we're ready for the comfort we hope DK's unit brings.

Great ride 3 people found this helpfulBefore, many roads were exhausting battling the bumps and potholes, now it a way smoother ride. I did find removing the Tri-Glide body (there are only 8 bolts) made the process so much easier to replace the shocks.

Best single upgrade for improved ride quality 1 people found this helpfulThe convertable comfort lift should be the first modification you make to your trike.I installed the product in a little over two hours. Read and understand the instructions thoroughly and follow to the letter and you will have no issues. The ride quality is night and day over the stock shock mounts. Rebound from bumps and dips are much less abrupt.. Steering is noticeably quicker at speed,Turns from a full stop are effortless. Next are the NextGen shocks. Harley should provide a discount coupon with a new trike purchase.

Excellent Quality &Service 0 people found this helpfulOrdered comfort lift and quickly received tour-pak relocation parts. Wanted to get comfort lift installed as we were leaving in 3-days on a 3 week trip. Called DK to see how they were going to fix their error. I was told that the UPS pickup had already been made for the day (this was late afternoon) so they couldn’t overnight the correct package. I was disappointed. About 30 minutes later I got a call from DK saying that they had found a location where the UPS truck had not picked up yet. DK folks must have driven 30 miles to get my parts shipped overnight. Customer for life. They fixed their mistake quickly and correctly. Great service.

Decided to have some winter projects and a Comfort Lift was one of them. Actually it takes more time preping bike for the install than replacing the new plates. Just my 2cents...lol

Convertible Comfort Lift 0 people found this helpfulI installed the Convertible Comfort Lift on my Triglide and it made an improvement in the ride and provided additional ground clearance! Parts are high quality! Only complaint is that I could not utilize the maximum position or most rearward shock position. For my model year, 2022, the instructions say not force the shocks to the most rearward position so I feel that I am not getting the maximum benefit given the price and effort to install. Overall I am satisfied...better than the stock ride! Suggest DK revise the hole positions for later model trikes to maximize the shock position. (Note from DK- Can't revise them any higher. HD changed the exhaust on 17 and up Trikes, and there is simply not enough clearance between the swingarm and the new exhaust to get it any higher)

Lift kit 19 Tri Glide. 0 people found this helpfulIt was a easy install. I ended up using the secondary holes. Trike looks level now. Haven't been able to get out and ride it yet. Weather has been crazy. The quality of the kit seems like it is good. So far I'm satisfied. Would recommend the kit.

Great part 1 people found this helpfulI was able to install in about 2 hours. The comfort setting is what I am trying now, and boy is it easer to turn. Raised the back up about 1 3/4 inches. Wife says it is more comfortable for her as well. Definitely worth the money and quality is excellent!

COmfort lift kit and Bitubo shocks 1 people found this helpfulWanted to update my previous review. I had the Bitubo shocks and the lift kit installed this morning. I am totally satisfied with the combo. Even with just the short ride form the dealers back home, I noticed the difference in handling and comfort. The shocks really make the difference. I took the same route home to test them on the wonderful Pennsylvania roads. Could not believe the difference when hitting the same bumps and potholes. Was able to get the full lift on the lift kit. WOW. Highly recommend this combination. Thank you guys for the assistance and service.

I will be ordering the shocks by the end of this week. When everything is installed, I will update my review, but have to say the assistance I have received so far is exceptional. Also the speed and accuracy of everything I have ordered so far is also exceptional. The site is easy to navigate and I enjoy the tech knowledge and videos.

Since I like the ride and handling improvements I have since removed the body for reverse motor work and decided to modify exhaust to use full lift, all back together waiting for dry time to test it out.

Great product 0 people found this helpfulThis lift kit is easy to install. The instructions are clear. The brackets are well made and finished flawlessly. It is a very good time to check the adjustment on the parking brake and inspect clamps and brackets for proper torque since Harley is not very good at details. The trike rides and performs better since the install. I recommend this product.

Comfort lift 0 people found this helpfulI received my comfort lift yesterday. I had it installed in less than an hour. I had to use the secondary holes because of fitment issues. Very easy to install. There is a noticeable difference in the steering and handling in the corners. I set the shocks at 35psi and it feels good. I hope it feels the same with a 2up rider.

ease and comfort 0 people found this helpfulRecently installed this lift kit. Slow and steady took a couple hours. Big change in steering to very responsive. Only need 10 pounds of pressure in stock air shocks for a comfortable 2 up ride. Really surprised me.

2015 Triglide Comfort Lift & Shocks 0 people found this helpfulI did the Comfort Lift kit and the Bitubo shocks at the same time. I thought this was the best video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOGG7RpIroQ I used 2 jacks for stability. Follow all the tips in the reviews. The left side is definitely the worst. The ebrake bracket was on tighter than the shock bolts. Plus you have to work around that and reach up inside to get the shock off and on. Right side was a lot easier for a right-hander. I attached the lower shock bolt on the bracket before I installed the top one. I tried torqueing it too but needed to back off a titch to allow the lift kit some wiggle room. Make sure the bushings stay where they are supposed to when you put the top bolt in on the shock. And ok to use 40# on those shocks. PIA working on the top shock bolt but that’s worst of it. Also having the jack under the rear pulley housing worked slick. I lowered it just a little and everything lined up perfectly on both sides putting the lift kit in. Have only gone about 20 miles but already see a difference. Can’t wait to try with the other half onboard. Quality and support were excellent.

After instillation I noticed it looked better raised up in back & the ride was smoother. It was a little easier in the steering with stock bars. Changed the bars & it steers way better. I've been telling my fellow trikers & they have ordered the kits too.You can't go wrong with this kit. Great price & nice people to deal with on the phone. I will buy from here again...

Seems like step was missing on how to relieve pressure from shocks and also to use blue locktite when re installing bolts. Contacted Duane and he was very helpful. Other than that, great product

No longer a stiff ride. Instead of the 20psi needed before installing this kit, now I only need 5psi. Not too bad to install either.

Great product 0 people found this helpfulThis really improves the look of the rear end drooping. The Tri-Glide rides somewhat rough, this product also improves the ride by changing the angle of the shock giving the bike more leverage on the suspension. I also believe it improved the steering slightly. I’m very happy with it, and it’s not very hard to install.

Fantastic 0 people found this helpfulI put the Comfort Lift on my 2009 Harley Tri-glide a couple of weeks ago. Since then we have put about 500 miles on. Not only is the ride much smoother, but the handling and steering has greatly improved. It was very easy to install. The only thing I regret is not putting it on sooner. Do yourself and your passenger a favor and put this lift kit on. Best hundred dollars you will spend on your motorcycle.

Along with replacing the stock preloaded system, the lift gave the air ride even more adjustability for a definite improved ride.I also added a pressure guage to my system, so i can change the lift at a glance, since my riding is split between riding alone, and riding 2 up. Thanks for the great products.

Best money spent on suspension 1 people found this helpful2019 Freewheeler. Rear suspension on the 19's are a improvement over previous years but need a little more help. That help came with DK's lift kit installed with keeping factory shocks. Install went smoothly following directions and had to use secondary holes because of exhaust weld. Still lifted Trike about a inch and really wasn't looking to raise it. After install and keeping shock settings the same, I drove on a road that previously I avoided because of the rough surface and small bumps. This time it was like a night and day difference.

Great Product 0 people found this helpfulInstallation straight forward. Took the most time on jacking and blocking the trike. Took work to get the old bolts off, but if you ever worked on suspensions no surprise there. I could not get it to the primary holes so used the secondary. They seemed adamant not to compress the shocks. Lifted it about 2 inches. I assume thats where it should be. Plus since it was up I took the opportunity to clean and do other maintenance. When you look at the lifts compared to the originals you think there is no way this will make that much of a difference. I happily admit I was wrong trike rides much better. I thought 100 bucks a little expensive for 2 brackets, but it is what it is. Nobody made me buy them. Customer service was top notch and they arrive quickly.

Get better detailed instructions. 0 people found this helpfulI have a 2014 Harley Tri-Glide. Lift kit works good. The directions suck and are not detailed enough. Could not stretch suspension enough to get the full lift. Had to use the secondary holes. Need multiple amounts of jack stands and floor jacks to do this. The directions were great and installation was straight forward once I got the old hardware off ( Harley must install their hardware with an impact wrench. Trike looks and handles great. Great product! 0 people found this helpfulReceived mine last week and installed it. Took a little longer than I expected, but that is my fault and nothing to do with the instructions or the video. After the install I went on my test ride and immediately felt a difference . I installed mine with the secondary holes and the improvements to ride quality is amazing. Took the wife on a long ride today and she agreed, a definite improvement. I want to say that the stock suspension seems "too stiff " and sometimes you fell like you're fighting the bike when riding. After this install, handling improved and the ride felt "natural" Really hard to describe the difference. if you are on the fence about getting this, get off it and buy it. I do not do reviews as a rule but because of an issue I had with the brackets and the way DK handled the issue, all I can say is this company has integrity. I gained 1 3/4 " clearance in the rear. No more dragging.....Can't wait for weather to get better to see what gains in steering and the ride.....Very nice product !

The ride is sooooo much smoother than stock and the handling is outstanding. Definitely worth the time and effort it took to install.

Lift Kit for '17 TriGlide 0 people found this helpfulJust got done installing these and even with the dealer switching our the lower shock bolts when I had the shocks changed, easy done. I am changing my tires, so I decided to order the kit and install it at home. Even without Leon doing any wrenching in almost three years, the change out went real smooth. Just follow the instructions, watch the video and take your time. I did did remove my mufflers so as to have more room to work and move the jack stands a little more apart. Gavel me an opportunity to clean the mufflers and swap them around.

Comfort Lift 2017 Tri Glide 0 people found this helpfulHave had this bike a little over a month and my first Trip Glide. Road Glide Ultras prior to this. Read plenty of reviews and I didn't think my Tri Glide rode all that bad. Ordered up form DK Customs and installed.......the improvement in ride quality and steering response was way more than Imagined. Passenger noticed right away and commented that they thought I had bought a more comfortable seat!! The steering in slow maneuvers wasn't awesome but rolling was a definite difference. Overall the ride quality went from ho hum to WOW!! Other than a serious road fault ie manhole cover depression or pot hole the normal rode imperfections aren't even noticeable now. What was impressive was that my over all comfort level doubled compared to without the lift. I was able to ride longer without needing a stop to destress the tense muscles as I had done the past month. Since I installed on a 2017 I had to use the second set of mount holes which concerned me that I wouldn't have the improvement in ride as others had said. Mine rides great and I wonder what it would be like if I could use the full lift. The install instructions aren't exactly the clearest.....I found out the hard way and what should have been a 45-60 minute install took 2 hours. Watch the video!!! It shows way more ....way more. Overall its an awesome product with noticeable results that you the average rider will find compared to a high end tech rider.

Comfort lift kit 0 people found this helpfulGreat addition to my 2013 tri-glide...Not so sure how much of a difference it made in ride comfort (some difference), But the steering difference is night and day..not fighting it as much as before the comfort lift kit.. Harley Davidson could learn a lesson or two from DK Customs..saving up for shocks from them next...installation took about 2 hours, with beer breaks..

What a difference 0 people found this helpfulI purchased a set of these brackets for my 2009 trike. Extremely easy to install and got the full height increase. I was able to reduce the air pressure from 30 to 15 psi and ride comfort was highly improved. I also found the steering much easier and less fighting in the corners. The staff was very informative and did everything they could to help me out. Shipped to Toronto Canada.

I do not scrape my aftermarket mufflers now and the ride quality has greatly been approved by a noticeable difference. This kit does level out the H-D Trike. I highly recommend this kit for H-D Trikes.

Shipping is high, $30 for two kits when they are packaged in flat rate USPS boxes that mail for less that $8 each, even if they had packaged both kits in one box, it would have been half the shipping cost I was charged.

Very happy with the product as it lifted the rear of the trike almost 2 inches. Instantly noticed the difference in the steering. Great product at a good price. Follow the directions completely and you’ll have no problem.

Great product, Must have 0 people found this helpfulThis is an absolute must for any Tri Glide, well, unless you like your Tri looking like it has a load in it's shorts. Handling and ride quality improved, not to mention the overall appearance. I got close to 2" of lift, not sure why, but, not complaining. Installation is not easy, but, not too bad if you follow the instructions. Hint, Hint! I ordered these three days before I picked up my Tri Glide ... they were on the Tri Glide five days after I picked it up.

It actually took more effort to jack up the rear and set the jack stands than to perform the removal and installation. My initial impressions are really pleased with the improved handling and I'm extremely pleased with the improved comfort. Looking forward to being able to get it out there for some extended riding time.

Won't have any ride time until hopefully April (Live in Iowa} {Only 2 miles on the odometer} so it's gonna be a long winter. I installed a set on my 2013 Tri Glide as soon as I got it home and loved it. The way you sit and the way it improves the ride and look of the bike is worth every penny.

Best investment for my 2 Trikes 0 people found this helpfulI ride a 16 TriGlide and my GF rides an 18 Freewheel. I did the first install on the TriGlide in 2017 before a long trip. I was totally impressed with the fit and workmanship during the install. However, it was the greatly improved ride quality that blew me away. My GF was equally impressed and she noticed the difference from the passenger’s seat on the very first ride. The kit became a mandatory install on her Freewheel. I highly recommend that all Trike riders have this installed on your bike. You won’t regret it...

Much better ride. 0 people found this helpfulI installed these on my 2014 Triglide I had to use the secondary holes because my exhaust was going to hit the swing arm but I raised my rear end up 1.2 inches and no longer drag my mufflers , the trike steers easier and the ride is much better. The lift kit was easy to install and anybody who owns a trike should install one. This is the best upgrade I have ever done love it.

Good product. 0 people found this helpfulI installed these on my 2018 Tri Glide and have been pleased with them. It takes less effort to corner now than the bike did stock. My wife says the ride from the back seat has improved since I installed them. The quality is on the same level as the factory brackets fit and finish. They have the same thickness of material. The instructions were easy to understand and fallow. One thing I would change would be adding the torque specs for the emergency brake bracket bolts.
